The uniform bank is coordinated by Mrs Sommerville and supported by other staff from Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School.
This initiative supports Articles 2 (non-discrimination), 3 (best interests of the child) and 27 (right to an adequate standard of living) of the UNICEF Convention on the Rights of the Child. It forms part of our wider commitment to sustainability, inclusion and the values of our Rights Respecting School journey.
Items that are not in a wearable condition are passed on to textile recycling, ensuring nothing goes to landfill. Your donation will always serve a purpose.
Items should be clean, wearable, and in reasonable condition. Minor wear is absolutely fine — but they should be free from significant tears, damage, or heavy staining.
No. Name labels are not required and you don't need to remove them before donating. Another family will be happy to use the item regardless.
Yes, we welcome both logo and non-logo items. All donations are appreciated regardless of whether they carry the school crest.

Completely. The uniform bank operates on a no-questions-asked basis. All requests are handled with full discretion.

We ask families to take only what they currently need so that the bank can serve as many people as possible. If your circumstances change, please get in touch again.
